LAB INTRO.

Laboratory of Cryptography and Information Security

Privacy violations, personal information leakage, computer viruses, DDoS attacks and other computer crimes have recently become serious security problems among information systems. To solve these problems, various information security technologies like cryptography or authentication are essential as tool. These technologies are also indispensable to develop for new cyber business.
We have been researching theory of cryptography, authentication and network security technology and their implementations.

Principles

• emphasizing both theories and implementations
• being a self-organized researcher
• presenting papers
• providing sufficient research environment

Environment

There is wide space and a laptop for everybody. A lot of researchers from Japan and abroad come to our laboratory, so you can exchange your ideas. If you go to international conference, we will cover your expenses.
